Isabelle
Isabella

Isobel
Isobella
Izobel

or another?

1. Which do you like most? My personal favourite is Isabel, but I also like Isabella.

2. If you had to choose a middle name with (1), what would it be? I like Isabel Harper or Isabella Francesca

3. If there were twins, what would you name the boy or girl sibling to (1)? Asher Dominic; Ruby ______ (maybe Claire?)

Isabella was my top name for all 2007 :) (until my bf vetoed, that is)
Isabella Maria is what I would have chosen. Not because Maria is a filler mn, but because I actually like the name. Plus, I love that the initials would be I. M. (I am), also sharing initials with Ina May Gaskin, big hero of mine (that came later, though).

I also like Isabel, and Isabelle. I strongly dislike all other versions, Isobel in particular.

1. I really, really like Isobel. I know a lot of people here think it's stupid, but here it's actually not pronounced like Isabel(le), and therefore, it is an entirely different name to me. Here, Isobel is pronounced like EES-oh-bel.

2. Isobel Faye. I also like Leah Isobel (because with Isobel Leah the L's run together too much).

3. For the twin sister/brother I'd go with one of my favourites, Maeve or Adam.

I totally support your 1.
While I'm not keen on Isobel in that pronounciation either, what bugs me moest about it is that it's thought to be the same name as Isabel, therefore makes for a horrible, kr8v spelling version.

I wouldn't be as against it if it were simply considered as a different name (although still sharing meaning and all)

My favourite way to spell Isabel is with the a but I would spell it Isobel because its a family name (I plan on using it as the third name for my first daughter).

I probably prefer Izabella the best out of any of the names. I like 'z' in names except Elisabeth where I prefer the s!!!

I really despise the name Ruby.

my favorite is either isabelle or isobel, i honestly can't decide because i love both pronunciations so much. if i use it i'll probably go with isabelle for some reason, though.

i've always only thought of using isabelle as a middle name. and i like it with just about any of the other names i like.

idk, i hope to god i never have twins.

Harper's a nice middle, too. Good choice!

1. Isabelle; I'm not huge on names ending in -a.
2. I like Isabelle Grace, but if Jeff and I were to name our baby Isabelle (which we aren't - he crossed it off just last night), we'd pull one middle name from each family, so probably Isabelle Margaret Joan.
3. boy - Benjamin Noah girl - Chloe Lynn

Isabel. I can also deal with Isabelle, but the rest are, no. Isobel and any of the 'o' spellings are way too "I watch Grey's Anatomy!" for me. Isabella and the variations are way too overdone. Isabel is feminine enough, why do you need to add an a to the end? Plus, it's just asking for her to be called Bella, which is awful. And the z spellings are horrid.

For a middle name, I'd go with:
Isabel Louisa
Isabel Margaret
Isabel Catherine
Isabel Juliet

As for sib-sets, I love the sound of Asher Dominic and Ruby Claire, and would probably use:
Jonah Edward
Levi Patrick
Caleb William

Stella Mae
Lily Jane
Hazel Jean

1. I LOVE Isabella; I think it's my top girl's name. I also like Isabelle, and I can deal with Isabel.

2. I really like Isabella Jane; I know that Jane can be a filler middle name, but I really love Jane and I think that the two names sound fabulous together.

3. Luke Henry or Lourdes Francesca (Lola). I do like Ruby Claire, though.

Isobel is my favourite. I don't think that I could pick a middle name or a twin, because I have never considered using any of those names, so I've never thought about it.

1. Isabella. I never liked this name until recently.

2. Isabella Jane sounds nice. I also like Isabella Harper, haha. And Francesca. Your middle name choices are nice.

3. Natalia Belle & Dylan Matthew, probably. Or Ryder Matthew.

the one on my list is isabel, and in second place is isabelle. i am not fond of the -bella ending, but thats only because i wouldnt want my daughter to be nicknamed bella, which i think is horrifying.

i like isabel harper. it was my number one name when i was preg last fall/early winter and had decided on isabel colleen, but colleen is my default middle because its my mothers first name who passed away four years ago. so whatever i use as a first will go with colleen.

i LOVE francesca (it shifts between my number one and number two girls name, flipping with ruby) but i dont like isabella francesca ... its a little over the top.

im confused by the last question, so i will just say that i think ruby claire is really sweet.
