Why Enzo? I have a family friend whose baby is Vincenzo, nn Enzo... it's weird, but I never really thought of it as cheap (I'm not offended just curious). their daughter is Chiara.

I was about to say that Chaz was a nickname for Charles too xD I used to know a guy who called himself Chaz... he was smary, thought he was the best looking man on earth and creepy. Needless to say, I don't like that name >_>

I dont think Enzo is bad as a nickname, but just 'Enzo' was 7l7th most popular name in 2006. Then again, I think giving your kid a nickname for a name is pretty cheap.
Enzo was more popular than Ross (my dad's name), which I think is a very strong sounding name.
Chaz I think is just horrible as a nickname and as a full name. Chaz as a name by itsself was more popular than Franco and Maximo- which I consider decent guy's names.

Pet peeve: Johnathan is not a classic name, its creative. It should be either John or Jonathan. Sorry if that sounded mean, I'm really not trying to be :(.
