i have an ever-expanding baby name list. :( the thought of naming the little one is just--overwhelming. i guess i feel like i have to worry if it will be unique enough, but not STRANGE..(my name is andra, unique..but not bizarre and i loved it growing up). this will be the 6th great grandchild in the family...actually, 7th, because my cousin will have her 3rd before me. these are the names already in the family.

I'm not sure if i'm having a boy or a girl yet (i'll find out early july) but i've started compiling quite a list. i keep adding and subtracting from it almost daily. even though i have more girl names, something in my gut makes me think i'm gonna have a boy. so here they are..
btw: the astriks are for names that would exclusively be reserved for middle names, as they are family names.

i really like henry, morgan, mason, and elliott for boys (although i prefer eliot or elliot) and clara, sadie, hazel, and audrey for girls.

i'd go with henry mark or morgan otis for boys and either clara maxine or audrey jean for girls.

yeah. audrey jean was on the top of my list for both first and middle...as was ida maxine.. but i feel like audrey might be getting too popular now so i might nix it for something a little less common.

as for the boys..my favorite was henry otis. but my mom doesn't like henry at all. timothy is really growing on me for a boy though..

i don't think audrey is really that popular, nor do i think it will become that. i think it's really popular in this community, but i don't think it's going to go much higher in the general population. i could be wrong, but regardless, it's a gorgeous name and it's not "trendy," just classic.

if you're looking for less popular, though, what about hazel? hazel maxine is gorgeous.

henry otis is cute:) timothy is okay, but i'm not a huge fan (it's on my list of possible middle names for my sons, though, because it's my dad's name).

what about morgan elliott? i forgot to suggest that one.

hahahah. that would be so funny. i'm from texas and one of the governors from the late 1800s last name was Hogg and he named his daughter Ima. Ima Hogg. poor girl.

I decided years ago to name my first son Morgan, so that name automatically gets a vote from me. I don't like many of the other names, although I don't mind Elliott or Mark, but not enough to use them as first names.

I like Ivy, Audrey and Sadie for the girls. I'm just curious, though; how is Stacia pronounced? stay-shuh, like at the end of Anastacia, or sta-see-a? Or something completely different?

stay-sha. it was my great-grandmother's name. short for anastacia. but they pronounced the y.

see, the thing is--i'm a HUUUGE houston astros fan. its almost painful, really. morgan is the name of a former player on the team...and colt (.45s) is the former "mascot" of the team before they changed it to the astros. i'm also just trying to think of ways to incorporate my texas pride into it. ahhh..so much to think about.

i like:
eoin - i like the name owen. i knew a kid named eoin and some people made fun of him and called him e-OYN, but for the most part people got used to pronouncing it correctly.
grant - although i can't picture calling a baby "grant"..it seems more adult-ish to me.
mason - though i think it's catching on.
morgan - i definitely prefer it on a boy.
timothy - i've grown to love it.
elliott - but getting popular. i think it's a great name though.
*mark - i like it a lot. maybe because it's my boyfriend's name. :] i think it'd be a great middle name though.

Henry isn't my "type" of name at all, but it's growing on me and I really kind of like it. I also like Grant, Spencer, and Colt. Otis was my aunt's dog's name so that's all I think of when I hear it. I don't like Mark.

I kind of like Talullah and Sadie. I like Audrey, but my favorite of your girls is Elodie. I like all the girls middle names you have picked out.
