Stella Maëlle Trenholm

It doesn't matter if you like the names I've chosen, I'm just curious as to whether or not they sound ok together. Part of me thinks it sounds pretty but then I wonder if there's too much "elle" going on. I mean, she won't be called Stella Maëlle in one breath very often but still. Is this a passable combo?

Yes, it is.

Because Stella ends in -la end Maëlle in -le, I think they go together just fine.

It's a little much with the "elle", but not enough to make it a bad combo. Where's Maelle from? I think it's really pretty. :)

Maëlle is Breton, pronounced "my-elle." I love it and was considering it for a first name but every time I mention it to my family/friends, they give me this HUH? look - like they don't understand what I'm saying.

I think it sounds beautiful! And I think it's a good choice to go with Stella as the first name, and Maelle as the middle name, because then she can have all the benefits of a cool name like Maelle, without people always pronouncing/spelling it wrong. It's a great combo.

I think it sounds good together. Maelle is very pretty. I would leave the umlauts (sp?) over the E off, however. They'll never be included on anything.

I like it. The names aren't too similar and flow nicely. I was initially worried about my daughter's first and middle names both ending in ia, which could be too matchy but the sounds are different so it works much like in the name you've chosen.

It seems like I'm the only one who does think there are too many "lls" in it. But then I think you're also right about it not being used together that often. I think Maelle is a very pretty name regardless.

this combo kind of reminds me of "michelle my belle" because of the elle sound going on, so it sounds kind of like a term of endearment you would call her "stella my elle" if that makes sense? but i hope that doesnt turn you off, because i love it.

When I saw them together, I was "wow, no".
Then I said it out loud and it wasn't that bad at all.
Maybe kinda redundant with the double 'l's ?
But really, not that bad. I actually like it, it's creative - in a good way :)

I think both names are super pretty! on their own, but the names make me want to read it as Stella Maella (all rhymey) even though it isn't. I think they are too similar. You could always do Stella Mae (not the same prn for Mae though :-/).

I really like it. I think it flows beautifully...kind of rolls off the tongue...and the names seem to fit together very well, in my opinion. I have no idea what Maelle means, or what language it hails from, but it's lovely. :o)
