I never liked the name Gretchen. A girl i knew in school tortured me verbally from sixth grade til eighth and her name was Gretchen.

Love it. I'm not a big fan of Mirah or Simone but Eleanor, Gretchen and Amelia are lovely names that work well together.

Although Gretchen is not my favorite, the one I'm wary on is Mirah. I adore Simone.

Mirah is my husband's favourite name. It took all I could do to move it to middle name status. I don't think I could erase it completely, unfortunately.
Simone I love enough to use as a first name as well but he only likes it as a middle I think.

that's so funny because Gretchen Simone is the one I just thought of off the cuff.

The Eleanor Mirah combo is not my ideal but I have to make some concessions for my husband (he loves Mirah).

I'm curious as to why you think Amelia Isobel doesn't go well together though?

Amelia Isobel doesn't flow badly, but when I hear Amelia I immediately think of a French origin and when I hear Isobel I think Spanish... not that those names are exclusive to those countries or that I'm an expert on name origins haha, but those are my knee jerk reactions.

I think most of the names are pretty, but I agree with someone else above; the only name that flows well is Gretchen Simone. Eleanor Mirah doesn't work well together, and Amelia Isobel is too much of a mouthful.

I don't know if Gretchen goes with Amelia and Eleanor or not. Not that names have to go together, but to me, it does sound like the odd one out. I love the name Eleanor and Mirah, so those go nice together. I don't like Simone or Isobel.
