I'm going through the names of the babies born recently at my hospital, and... oh lordy. You can tell where I live is pretty ... um, uneducated? Special? UNIQUE! There we go. ;P

First, we have a black (it matters) baby... named... ARYAN. :( Oh god.

I love the name Analyse.. Except thatspelling is tacky, with the y. I like it Analise.

But the rest are all TERRIBLE, I agree. Autumn and Summer are pretty names separately, but it's a dumb combination. The rest are ugly.

Spelling it Analyse is the non-American way of Analyze, which just makes it more fun. :) Otherwise I wouldn't have included it. ;P

Once, someone posted a birth announcement wherein the unfortunate child was named Yunalesca... after a video game character.

Sadly, she wasn't the only child with the unfortunate video game name; I recall there being a baby Sephiroth. D: Why oh why.

We joke about naming the kid after video game characters... I don't think we actually will though. I've seen someone name their kid Cortana, after the AI girl in Halo. When husband told me she's generally trampy and stuff, I thought it was about as wonderful as naming a kid after your favourite hooker. Uh. TO each their own? LOL

I've heard of Elizabety before, and I do agree that Autumn and Summer could be used as names, but separately. What I'd like to know is what's up with Ansastasha? Anastasia, I'm guessing? Is kind of looks like a typo (the first s), or is it actually an-sas-tasha/ans-as-tasha?
