Apr. 26th, 2008 11:28 amThe boyfriend and I have been joking about names lately , even though we are not even thinking about having children anytime soon. He wants to name our first kids Pineapple, Soda & Pie - his three favourite things!
His name is Aaron, and he believes his parents got lazy when naming him because there are 2 possibilities:
1. They opened the baby name book and picked the first name; 2. They took the end part of his mother's name 'Sharon'.
He laughed about using the names Jaron, Zaron/Zaaron and Taron for boys (which to me sound like almost real names, but definitely not on my list) and Tess, Mess & Pess for girls (Tess was alright, not to keen on the last two lol).
So... if you were to derive your children's names from your own and/or partner's, what *amazing, kr8yve* names can you come up with?

My boyfriend's last name is Rice, though. Which leads to some interesting ideas. My personal favorite being Beans And Rice. Justin wants to name our children after his favorite video games. He throws out a "WE'RE SO NAMING OUR FIRST KID (THIS)!" every once in a while, but I cannot think of any of them right now.

Date: 2008-04-26 10:39 am (UTC)Fiance's name is a little bit more difficult, Bashkim (pronounced Bah-shkim). No real names rhyme with his name, but we could always use the 'kim' as a name.
