My aunt is pregnant again. She's having a girl this time. And she ran some names by me last night so I want to know what you guys think.
You can be brutal, it's not my kid lol.

Maya/Mya
Sidney/Sydney
Milena/Malena
Rihanna
Kylie
Keira/Keera?
Sienna

(I'm not sure of the spellings, we spoke on the phone. So if you have any spelling suggestions, that would be cool too.)

fyi: Her son's name is Sebastian.

I like Kiera, but Ciara too. They mean the same.

I also like Mya and Maya, but they raise quite the issue of pronounciation (together with Mia, which I also like!)

Kylie is pretty and dainty, but maybe too much trendy-like.

I don't like Sienna nor Sydney.
Milena and Malena are not pronounced the same, both are cool as long as she knows that :P

Hmm I guess not. I say them the same though (Muh-lay-nuh, which is the way my aunt said it so...) But I guess the first one should have a "Mill" sound instead.

And "Ciara" is out because most people here (USA) pronounce it See-air-uh.

I've always heard Malena pronounced Muh-LEE-nah.
There was a tv show with a character named this, but I forget the name.

Milena in Europe is pronounced Mee-LEH-nah :)

Sienna and Maya/Mya I like, both are names I have favorited, but the others I don't. Sidney is forever to me a male name, Rihanna will be gone once the performer is, I have a jailbait second cousin named Malena, Keira I don't think matches well with Sebastian, and Kylie is cute, but maybe too cute for when she gets older.

Maya is my favorite, and the rest are nice. The only one I really really don't like is Kylie because Kaylie/Kylie/Kayla sounding names are so trendy that they just grate on my nerves at this point.

I like Milena & Maya, and I think Sienna & Keira are alright. I don't like Kylie & Rihanna because they make me think of the singers...and with Rihanna I also dislike the spelling. For some reason I think Rhianna is alright.
Mya makes me want to pronounce it Mee-ah, and Keera looks/is misspelled.
I'm simply not a fan of Sydney...but if she likes it, I'd go with this spelling and not with Sidney if I were her.
I don't like Malena...but that's only because in Dutch 'mal' means 'silly' or 'weird'. So yeah. I don't think your aunt will have a problem with that ;)

A little yikes, to Rihanna. I'm not sure whether it's for the singer or not, but since she's fairly big right now, that might be what people think. The other ones aren't really that too great, not for me at least, but there's nothing really wrong with them. Kind of just okay.

I thought it would be a mouthful too. But I'm so used to saying it doesn't feel that way anymore. I call him Baz sometimes and another aunt calls him Bassy. Most people call him Sebastian though.

I would suggest spelling Maya/Mya as Maia instead...I hate the Y, for whatever reason, but I think spelled Maia, it's really lovely. I think it goes a bit better with Sebastian as well. :)

I like how Milena sounds, but I feel like it should be spelled differently...? I can't find the "right" spelling in my head, though.

Other people have already suggested Rhiannon instead of Rihanna. I'll just add myself to that list. ;)

Maya - I love May, but this name leaves me cold. It also makes me think of mayonnaise.

Sydney - Not my usual style, but I don't mind this on a girl. Sidney's too masculine to me, though.

Milena - Beautiful.

Rihanna - Too cutesy.

Kylie - I know everyone hates this name, but I actually like it. It's pretty cutesy, too, but not annoyingly so, for some reason.

Keira - Spelled like this, very pretty. Spelled "Kyra," I hate it. No idea why there's such a distinction for me.

Sienna - Remember burnt sienna Crayolas? That was my least-favorite color of all time. The name reminds me of that.
