What do you guys think of Linden? Do you prefer it for a girl or a boy? Does it sound too made up? Or too Lyndon B. Johnson?

I'm not sure how I feel about it as a name, but as a word/sound it just rolls off the tongue...I love it.

I don't like it and it does remind me of LBJ

I love Linden! I like it for both, but I prefer it on a girl. I think it's because my name is Lindsey and I'm a girl and they seem somewhat similar. It doesn't necessarily remind me of LBJ, but I also feel it as more of a girl's name which could influence that connection as well.

I like it, which is weird considering my name is Lindsay and I hate my name. I think I like it for either a girl or boy too.

I love Linden for a girl. I plan to use either Linden for a first name or Linda for a middle name of one of my future children.

I rather like it. Sounds dignified, to me.

I LOVE it, and I think it suits a girl better. My name is Lindsey (along with most of the other people who've responded to this - who knew there were so many of us?) and I may just like it for that reason, but I think it's darling.

To me it's a boy's name.

Sorry I deleted my other comment!

My name is Lindsay and I've lived my whole life in a city named Linden. I don't like it as a name because I associate it with my home, but aside from LBJ I had never even heard of it as a first name until this year when I met a girl named Linden (I'm 19 by the way).

I like it, but it makes me think of Lindor Chocolates. :P

It does remind me of Lyndon B. Johnson, but I don't think that's so bad.
I like it better spelled that way, than like Linden though. I guess Linden looks a little too feminine to me.

I like the way Linden looks written down, but when I say it aloud, all I can think of is LBJ. All the same, I'd prefer it on a girl.

I thought of Lindor chocolates before I thought of LBJ. I don't know which gender I would like it for more though; probably a girl.

I like it for a girl, but I would only use it for a fictional character, not a real person.
