What do you think of the name Carlin for a boy.
It was the name of a good friend of mine from high school, so he is about 18/19 years old.

My first thought was George Carlin. It's a cool-sounding name, if that's an association you can live with.

All I can think of is George Carlin, who I dislike tremendously.

That aside, I still don't care for it much. I do like Kellen/Kellin though.

It sounds so feminine to me.

I have a (female) cousin named Carlin... she shortens it to Carly...

It could work. "Carlin" sounds more surname-esque than suited to any singular gender.

I think of my sisters boyfriend's last name.
