(no subject)

I was listening to Car Talk again this morning and I got two interesting names:
Barnaby and Evyn.

Barnaby said people call him Barn or Barno...

Evyn said SHE was named after her grandmother, Eva. And she also said it WAS spelled with a 'Y'.

WDYT?

Idk if I like Barnaby...it's definitely unique but not in a yooneek way, you know?
And Evyn's okay. I like unisex names on girls but the y kinda makes me cringe.

Barnaby is not bad, just makes me think of a hobo.

Evyn is trendynz-crazynz

I actually had to practically say Evyn out loud to see what it was. I did not think Evan when I looked at it. Barnaby sounds like an 1800's detective or something. Evyn is cute.

Yep! I know a girl named Evyn! She is almost 27. And just for the record, she gets tons of compliments on her name. I asked about it once since we both have kinda boyish named (mine is Devon)......she said she has never once gotten a weird look or anything and people compliment her on it daily.
