Cameron, Delaney, Georgia and Violet are about it for me from that list. I don't like Sam as a complete name - it should be a nn for Samantha (or Samuel, if we were talking boys).

I love the name Georgia, but my sister was disgusted when she found out I liked it. She said it sounded like an old lady's name, oh wait, I just looked at what she wrote about it on my Facebook wall. She said, "it reminds me of some old southern woman with huge orange hair that works in a beauty parlor giving people ugly poofy hair cuts."

So yeah, I agree that not everyone will think they are cool....

THey are kind of cool. Well I know cool people with the names so I have a good association with many of them. Haha
I know an Asia, Cameron, Georgia,Lola, Sam, Sasha, Sien(n)a, Violet and Willa. Most are younger children, a couple are adults. I used to know a Bronwyn.

Theres a new girl at my work named Bronwyn. I don't like it, personally.
Sienna is one of my favorite, though.

Asia- Never got on board with this one. It doesn't seem exotic to me.. just geographical.
Bronwyn- Too masculine.
Cameron- Too hollywood.
Delaney- Ugly
Delilah- Sweet
Georgia- I prefer Georgia as a female name to George as a male name
Lark- Really like, middle perhaps
Lola- Eh.. not bad but a bit cutesy
Maisie- Way too cutesy
Paloma- Love
Sam- No no no, I hate this on a girl

Sad thing is they're probably right about names like Delilah. I can remember not too long ago (actually in this Very Same Community) when it still only had associations with evil, conniving women. Before the crossroads of That Song and people looking for alternatives to Lily and Lilah...

I haaate the names Bronwyn and Paloma. The only name I'm sure of disliking more is Gertrude, in fact.

I love Sasha and Violet. Willa always sounds empty to me, but I'd like it as a nickname for Wilhelmina.

Georgia and Violet are on my list of favorites and I'll take Lola as a nickname for Charlotte and Maisie for May any day, but if I use any of those, my friends are gonna be all, "What the fuck, is your baby an old lady?" So I'm gonna have to go ahead and disagree, as well.

i CANNOT STAND cameron, paloma, bronwyn, delaney, and maisie.

i do like violet (its on my list) and georgia (planning on naming a pet that at some point, to go along with our dog, virginia)

i know a girl named lark. it doesnt really suit her because she is a rich snobby type. if she was a hippie or something, itd fit better, imo. its pretty though.
