I just made a post a few days back, and here I am again. I have a feeling I will be doing this a lot until hubby and I decide what to name our baby.

Soooo....Im asking for some thoughts! What do you all think of the following names? We have no middle name for sure to go with these as of yet.

Celia
Sasha
Eliza
Susanna
Rowan
Cora
Mila


Hate any, love any, middle name suggestions?! I appreciate all opinions!

I love Eliza. Sylvia, Naomi, Fiona and Susanna are ok. Rowan is a boys name. Sasha is a cute nickname. I don't feel strongly one way or the other for Celia, Cora or Mila.

Actually 200 out of every million baby girls in 2006 were named Rowan. I think I like it because it is kinda uni-sex...and my name is too (Devon).

Im not sold on Sasha at all, its one of my hubs favorites--along with Sylvia.

That's because boys names on girls are trendy, not because it's particularly unisex. It's still way too masculine for a girl.

I see what you are saying about being trendy, but I don't really see Rowan as "that" masculine. I guess my view is skewed because I have a boyish name, I know a girl named Evan and Lachlan as well. So, I guess Im used to seeing girls with boyish names.

Just because people named their baby girls Rowan doesn't make it a girls name, imo. I really don't like unisex names, generally, though.

I like Sasha as a nickname for Alexandra. I like Sylvia, but it kind of reminds me of an old woman in Florida.

My favorite is Eliza. It is an absolutely fabulous name, and it is, by far, the best one on the list. Great pick:)

As for the others, I also like Sylvia, Naomi, Fiona, Celia, and Susanna. Sasha is okay, but I've always been partial to that one on boys (since that's what it originated as). Maybe use Alexandra with Sasha as the nickname (this is actually more common than you'd think). I also think Cora could work as a nickname, but it seems so . . . blah on it's own. What about Cordelia with Cora as a nickname?

I don't like Rowan or Mila at all.

What about . . .
Eliza Naomi or Naomi Eliza? I also like Naomi Susanna.

I like Cordelia, but our last name is "D" heavy, so it might sound weird.

I don't really care for Cora or Mila.
Sasha I see as a boy's name...I guess because the only person I've ever known named Sasha was a boy.

I like all the names, but Eliza and Susanna are my favourites. I'm not crazy about Rowan for a girl. I think it can be used on a girl, but I prefer it as a boy's name. I also don't like Sasha much, because I think it sounds like a nickname. They're all really nice, though.

Sylvia- Sounds classy and smart. I like.
Naomi- I don't particularly like this name, it sounds whiney to me some how. But i do like the fact you dont come by it too often. What about Noemi?
Fiona- Pretty and delicate.
Celia- I love this. Its a fiesty name.
Sasha- Doesn't really stand out.
Eliza- Allright but i feel lukewarm about it.
Susanna- No, the only name I dont like at all.
Rowan- I LOVE Rowan, especailly for a boy but could deff work on a girl.
