I like Aida, Asher, and Hana. Hilary will forever be associated with Hillary Clinton for me (for better or worse).

May I suggest also Gaia (GAH-yah) and Allegra (Ahl-LAY-grah) ?
They both mean "happy" in italian and are also used as names :)

How incredibly coincidental.

I read the name 'Ilaria' in a book today and not having heard it before meant to go on behindthename.com to find out the meaning & origin but evidently forgot.

I think it's lovely! (and for the record it's the Italian form of Hilarius- cheerful) along with Felix & Bliss and Ada, but find it too short and wouldprefer is asa nickname to Adelaide or Adelia.

Felicity is one of my all time favourites

I'm finding this list a little funny. My name is Hilary and I call my car Felix. :o)

Anyway... I personally like Aida and Felicity. The rest are NMS.

I love Aida. It was my grandmother's middle name (passed away when I was very young). My dad said she prounounced it both ways - AYE-duh and EYE-duh. I like the first better.

Joy? I like Felicity. My name is Joy and I wanted to name my boy Asher, but I just couldn't do it. My last name starts with Sh, so Asher Sh----- sounded like a sneeze.

I have loved Asher since I first saw the name.

I loved it more when I learned it meant 'happy' not long afterwards.
