Date: 2008-04-20 11:08 am (UTC)the only reason i like kinsey though is because of the doctor, it kind of sounds like a cheapened version of mackenzie to me. and i'm not sure i'd name a kid after a sex doctor. same with lux, the association to the promiscuous one from the virgin suicides would be too much for me.
i don't really HATE most of them but sheba just reminds me of the dog. i assume it's referencing the character from notes on a scandal and when i was watching that movie all i could think about was how it sounded like they were calling a dog whenever they addressed her. it doesn't help that the breed, shiba, is pronounced the same way.

Date: 2008-04-20 02:51 pm (UTC)Antonia - I like it well enough, but never Toni.
Arwen - Not something I find attractive or feminine enough to like massively but I don't mind it.
Beloved - Euw...
Brett - For a girl? No thanks.
Briony - Bryony is the spelling I'm used to. I don't care for it.
Daisy - I think it's an amusing name.
Denver - Yuck.
Emma - Boring, overused.. really.
Faunia - Flora and Merryweather. Reminds me of Sleeping Beauty Fairies.. having said that i don't mind Flora
Jacy - Ugly, sounds like the name of an 80's boyband member
Juliet - Gorgeous
Kiki - A nickname..
Kinsey - Ugly
Lolita - Too many connotations
Lux - As a nickname I like it..
Maisie - Too nicknamey, cute name for a dog though.
