i like the nickname poe a lot. i think its fabulous.
i would pair it with something traditional. i think poetry elisabeth sounds very pretty, for example (and i have to say it, but poe elisabeth is the sweetest thing ever).

You asked for no thoughts on the actual name, but I will mention that in German "Po" (said Poe) means butt. It almost certainly is irrelevant, but just an FYI.
You said no opinions please, but I think it's kinda pretty, and interesting. :) Poetry Jane Poetry Posy Poetry Renee Poetry Jean Poetry Snow Poetry Eileen Poetry Fiona Poetry Sioneva/Sionelle Poetry Agata Poetry Iris Poetry Velenne Poetry Vione poetry Violet Poetry Yvennia Poetry Verina Poetry Verity
I'm liking 'V'-names with it for some reason. Lol.. pretty name, but hard to come up with mns because the -y on the end makes poetry sound like an adjective.
I just went to go see what Soleil Moon Frye used for her daughter, Poet's, middle name. One of them was Rose; Poetry Rose sounds nice. I really like it with names like Clare and Dawn too. For some reason, I think Poetry would go best with a single-syllable middle name.
And I know that you said no thoughts, but I really like the name Poetry.
Elise, Sienna, Zen [Zen is one of my guilty pleasure names], Kaya, Lilah, Lennon [another guilty pleasure], Sarah, Sonne, Sterling, Dawn, Hannah, Abigail, Beth, Jelyn, Jannelle, Honor, Brooke, Bridget.

Date: 2008-04-20 05:09 pm (UTC)I agree that it should go with a single-syllable name. Something simple and not so "out there"

Date: 2008-04-20 10:40 pm (UTC)Poetry Jane is the first thing that came to my head.
Maybe a simple name of a famous/favorite poet? Emily, Charlotte... Well, neither of those hit, but that general idea.
Maybe a Shakespearean name? Poetry Juliet - that relatively flows. Etc.
