There's this name I read in a book, and I really like it. It's Auraya.

I pronounce it like Au-raj-ah but I don't know if that's how the author was thinking it should be pronounced.

As for the name, it kinda reminds me of Seraya. Not exactly sure why.

It sounds weak to me, there is no strong consonant. It's sort of an insubstantial name.

Much prefer Aurora or Aurelia.

Oh, and in reaction to other's opinions on it being weak. I really dislike aurora-- it's over done and just doesn't sound right. I like that Auraya is softer.

Same here actually. I'm not sure how to pronounce it properly, but then again, I normally pronounce weird names in books differently than others anyway because of my norwegian background :)

Auraya. Sounds pretty and exotic.
