still reading... and i'm back with another list. :] i don't know if i would ever use any of these but still think it's refreshing to see something different. as a side note, all the dantes i've met were exceptionally good-looking, hah.

Personally, if I were going to name my child after a poet, I would try to make it a more subtle reference than Poe or Yeats. But that's just me.

I LOVE the name Auden... for a girl. I think it is adorable. But I would probably have to love the poet for me to name my daughter that.

I really like the name Dante. And my nephew has Byron as a middle name, don't know the reason behind though.

I think I'd use Blake as a name. and He's the only poet I've really read lol

I have an English major friend who wants to name all of his children after writers. My personal favorite is a daughter Joyce, for James Joyce.
