I have a slightly weird question.

My given name is Amanda Nicole, which flows together nicely, but I have always gone by Mandi Nicole, which I hate hate hate together.

I've been looking into changing it when I change my name after I get married, because I've always hated it so much.

So, I am looking for suggestions for a middle name!

My name would be Mandi ______ Gray.

personally i'd keep amanda as your FN and mandi as a nickname. amanda is so much more professional and mature sounding... mandi sounds, to be honest, kind of trashy. i honestly don't think ANY middle name would sound good with mandi :X it might just be a personal thing, because my sister is amanda and ALWAYS went by amanda, but i dunno.

I've been called Mandi since I was born, so Amanda really isn't my name to me! But I haven't really been thinking about bothering to change Amanda to Mandi. Just the middle name.

My name is Amanda and I was teased as a kid by being called manda-lynn because it sounded like a musical instrument. It wasn't a terrible teasing, so I don't mind, but hearing Mandi-Lynn, it reminded me again of the instrument. :)

I wouldnt bother changing your middle name at all. The only thing your going to really be writing your middle name on that people will see it is important documents and really they arent critiqueing if your name flows well and on important documents you should be putting your given first name of Amanda (bc thats what the government knows you as). Just my opinion. Middle names arent a big deal
