so, we've finally narrowed it down to 3 middle names. here they are in no particular order of preference. i think the final choice is ultimately going to be mine. just looking for some opinions

Is the last one pronounced Ele-ana.. like Alanna but with an E? becaues if so i like it! & are the 'ana's like anna' or are-nu? if that makes sense?

Hey, I like Alanna! I didn't think of that one. I was just going with Eleana as an alternate way of spelling Iliana, since the first name ends in "I".

And the "anas" are like "AH-NAHS", if that makes any sense. :)

Does Devi rhyme with Levi? (sorry i know im probably being annoying here with all the questions!)

This is my first time posting to this community and I don't mind the questions.

Devi (DEH-VEE) rhymes with levee (as in an embankment for preventing flooding)

It could be an accent thing (I'm Australian) but I would never think of an "anna" name being pronounced as "ah-na" .. it would always be ANN-a. If you wanted to make it more like "ah-na" i would take out one of the Ns, e.g. Ariana instead of Arianna

None of the names are my style, so I won't vote for any one of them - I'd just vote AGAINST Arianna.

Arianna always makes me think of Aryan, which makes me think of Nazi ideology. I cannot get away from that. Although I know this is almost always unfounded, I can never help wondering if a person who named a daughter Aryanna is a white supremacist :/

That's an interesting perspective. I've never thought of Arianna as a derivitive of Aryan because I'm pronouncing it AHH-REE-AHH-NAH. You can rest assured that if I decide to go with Arianna it's not because I'm a white supremacist as I am the product of a Haitian mother and Cuban father.

Of course - I hope you didn't think I was saying you were one! It's kind of an involuntary reaction, not really a rational suspicion on my part :) I just can't help making that association, that's all...

The first thing I think of is Arianna Huffington - not a bad connotation, if you ask me.

I like both Arianna and Reina. Voted Arianna though.

i chose reina because the back-to-back vowels on all the other ones seemed awkward.

I LOVE the name Devi! Devi Lynn would be better. It sounds better too.

I vote out "Devi Lynn" because it's very easily turning into "Devilin'" Or just Devi L Lastname.

Vowels into similar vowels don't flow well, so I'd strike out Eleana and Iliana based on the sound.

i would have to go with devi (which i think is absolutely adorable by the way!) iliana, because thats the only one of those four names that i even remotely like, even though i dont think it sounds that great with devi.

I vote Devi Arianna.....ironically a girl I work with has a daughter named Arianna Devi :)
