Here are some of my favorites, see what you guys think.

Oh, and the name in the parenthesis is the potential middle name.

Girls:
Ava (Rose)
Julia
Sophie
Adriana (Lynn)
Isabelle

Boys:
Damien (James)
Chad (Pierce)
James
Lucas - Luke would be the nickname

Wow, I really need to think of some more names for boys. That list seems particulary empty.

Also, what are some french names for girls that you like? I'm french (nearly half my family speaks it, haha) and I thought it would be nice to incorporate that somehow into my eventual (though not for a few years!) child's name. Thanks in advance! :)

"Celeste" is Latin, not French.

Forgive me, I cannot do the accent on my computer to make it the French pronunciation (say-LEST).
Lots of names that are not necessarily of French origin sound better with French Pronunciation.
ex.
Agnes (an-YES)
Edith (ay-DEET)

Yes, but just because a name might sound better (to you) in French, that doesn't mean it's "French." I didn't want anyone to get confused -- I thought that the OP was looking for actual French-originated names (since her family is of French origin), and Celeste is not of French origin.

There aren't really any originally French names... they're all of Latin, Greek, Germanic etc. origin, and have been 'Frenchified', so to speak.

I love French girls names and they would go so well with our baby's French-Canadian last name. In our case, though, our family is so Americanized, we'd use the Americanized versions of the name, though.
