I assume most of you have seen the movie Varsity Blues. You know the guy named Billy Bob? It's mentioned that his real name is William Robert. I like the full name but I would feel bad about sticking him with a nickname like that. :D

I have a cousin named James Robert but when his sister was young she couldn't say James Robert, thus she christened him Jim Bob.

He's in his mid 20s and it has stuck. I think introduces himself as Jim to new people, however.

lol. In highschool, my best friend and I would joke about her wanting to name her future son William Joseph Robert (Billy-Joe-Bob).

It think it work for movies and stuff but really using it? Ouch. Then again, you dont have to go with the nn Billy-Bob or anything. William Robert could be Liam. Or just William. I'm sure there's plenty of William Robert's in the world.
