I love it... I don't think it's "too biblical," because it's not nessecarily an uncommon name. I have a cousin named Ezra, and that's easily picked off as a biblical name. Same thing with my brother Solomon. Saul, though, doesn't make me think of it right off that bat.
And, also, I think it ages well... but it's not a very childish name. I can't really set it on a four year old. I don't know a lot of nicknames for it, so I think you'd have to have a really good middle name or something.
I immediately think of the Biblical character. And I associate with a "bad" person usually because the guy was named Saul when he was an ass, then he became good and changed it to Saul. So I've always associated with like... an evil person. But hey that's just me. Some people might not even know it's biblical.
