I know this is off the whole subject, but, I am kind of at a loss. Just taking a shot in the dark here...

Does anyone know of any actual FREE people finders? I am looking for my birth father but do not have any money to shell out for the online searches (especially if efforts from those are fruitless). Or just anything that would help me in my search. I have never had any contact with him so I have no information other than a name, an age range, and a vague range of where he was last known to be residing.

You could try looking up an address by name if you know the county he lives in.
Just google search for the county name assessors website. That information should be public.

Nope. :( I just know that his last known location was in L.A. (hopefully he stayed in the same general area since the 80s!) I am going to pull up the site and see what I can find! :D Thank you! :D
