Apr. 5th, 2008 06:09 amI just saw a post on a Names group on Facebook and I immediately thought, "oh God..." I really want to say this person is joking, but her friend joined around the same time and it just didn't seem like it was a joke.
Her names for her unborn kid are:
Tia Marie Jesilane Taiyten
or
Carter Blaze Nethin Derrick
Her current kids are Jayden and Zakarie (both boys).
The kicker is she claims to like traditional names.
On another note, I just saw a name on TV. The girl's name is Cjersti. I have no idea how it is pronounced.

Date: 2008-04-05 11:35 am (UTC)The one that's really getting me is Taiyten. Tia, Marie, Carter, and Jayden are normal (ish, even if Jayden's grossly trendy), Blaze, Derrick, and Zakarie are just misspelled, and I'm assuming Nethin is Nathan or very similar. Jesilane is a little odd, but similar to Jessica, Jessamyn, and Jessalyn, so it's not bothering me much. But Taiyten? I've heard Tate and Tatum and Taylor, but...bleah?

Cjersti looks like a butchered Scandinavian name...I believe I read a book once with a main character called Kjerstin.
