I like ALL of your girls' names :D For boys, the ones I don't mind are Edward and Oliver. Hugo could sound quite "alternative", for being so old-fashioned. I dislike Rory.
The girls names are too celebrity-related for my tastes. (Matilda being Michelle and Heath's kid, Ramona being Maggie Gyllenhaal's kid, Ava being Reese and Ryan's kid)
I love Matilda, because it's so Aussie sounding and I'm well, Aussie. I used to love Madison, not so much now, and Ramona reminds me of the Ramona Quimby books. Oliver is one of my top guy names, even if every second kid seems to be named Oliver these days.
Not a fan of the rest. I liked Rory when I'd heard it as a guy's name, before 'Rory Gilmore' came along, but not so much now. Edward and Hugo are a little too outdated for me, and I always wonder if Edward is only popular now because of Twilight.
i love matilda as a little girls name, but i'm not sure how well it grows up. i don't like the sound of ramona really, but i don't dislike it when people use it. ava/eva annoys me. i prefer longer names with substance and i don't feel that this name has substance. madison is kind of tired but i still like the sound, but i do prefer madeleine.
rory is difficult for me to say. so is aurora though, i think it's only me. this hinders how much i like it though. i think i like it more on girls. edward will always remind me of old men because it's my grandfather's name. i don't like hugo really. i LOVE oliver, it's one of my favorite names for boys. it's my dogs name, actually. my family would kill me if i named my child oliver.
I love your boys names! Seriously, that list could have come from me. I only like Matilda for your girls names, because of the possible nickname of Tilly, otherwise its too Roald Dahl for me.
I like Matilda and Madeleine for girls and Edward and Oliver for boys.
Ramona reminds me too much of the books, and the "Moan" part of the name is just a bit much for me. Madison is way too trendy, and Ava is okay, but overused. Rory, while an okay name, and definitely all-boy in my book, carries the feminine stigma to it thanks to Gilmore Girls, and I prefer Hugh to Hugo -- it always makes me think of Hugo Chavez, and that's not a great association. I do like Hugh, though, and Hugo could be a nickname, I think.
i like all of the girls names for the most part, except for madison. i'm not really wild about any of them though. i'm not a big fan of any of the boys names, but if i had to pick, i'd choose rory or oliver.
