The Sentmans

I'm sitting here watching Kids by the Dozen. This episode is about the Sentmans, who have 17 children. (That link goes to their MySpace, which I found through a simple Google of their last name).

The children are:

I don't think the names are too bad overall, though Phil and Philomena are a bit much. WDYT?

I love the sibset; those names all awork well together, but I would prefer Philip over just Phil and, yeah, having a sister named Philomena would have been insulting a bit ("Why can't she have her own name, Mom?!?"). I'm hoping that some of those names are nicknames, which I'm guessing they are, since Joe and Becky and Timmy are short. Too short.

And goodness, would I love to have so many brothers. Well, I would love to have one at all, but geez.

I saw that show, too. I do think Phil and Philomena are too much for siblings, and I hope Timmy is short for something else.

I kinda like Philomena, though. Better than Phylis and Phillipa, IMO. I do have an ancestor named Phillophena...but I thought that was a bit much.

Who has 11 kids and then says, "Hey! Let's have six more. I hope they are all boys!"

Ok - the names are pretty good though. I like:

I also like Joseph and Timothy, but I m not sure if they used the full name...

Phil and Philomena is a bit odd - at least they didn't name them all J names though, as large families seem prone to do...

Poor Philomena...

I love Michael, William and Anna, and I hope Becky is short for Rebecka/Rebecca etc.....

Other than that I think they are all kind of boring names.
