I had a college roommate called Antoinette, and she.hated.it. Sounds like an old-fashioned old woman's name!

There's a girl named Amberly who lives on the same floor as me (I live in a dorm.) She's an utter and complete....well. I don't know if there's even a proper word to describe her. She's nineteen and uses a "baby voice" when she wants to be "cute" (and it doesn't work.) I can't stand so much as the mere sight of her, so for me, ugh, that name brings up some baaaad associations.
