ANY NEE ANIE names

Being a Britni and having friends named Brittany and Jessica we had a bit about the way people expected us to act based off of our names.

We would put on uber valley girl voices and say our "names"

KIMberLY(me)
StephANIE
MELanie
TIFFany

Basicly anything that ended in ANY NEE ANIE etc.

It was kind of ridiculous because I already have the valley girl meets hippie stoner beach bum accent (plus random speech problems with random words) and Brittany was from Massachusetts.

I had a little girl in my class named Jessica. She was so smart and sweet, so now that is what I think of with that name :-)

All the Jessicas I've known were/are smart and sweet.

My BFF and this girl from 3rd grade who was so nice and this little girl who was convinced I was pregnant ("I'm Just fat little girl!" never seemed to work)

I actually really like those kinds of names. I'm kind of obsessed with the 80's and 90's. Kimberly, Stephanie, Melanie, and Brittany are some of my favorite names.

WOW! I haven't encountered anyone who actually liked the name Brittany. I'm biased because of being born in the 80's and named Britni there pretty much wasn't a time in school when I wasn't known as Britni A or Britni 1.

Though now I think because the popularity has died down it wouldn't be so bad for a younger generation kid. If you can get past the Britney Spears associations.

My cousins are actually named Kimberly and Melanie they aren't bad names at all. People just couldn't look at me and my friends without thinking of ditzy blonds. (Britney Spears, Jessica Simpson etc)
