Wow, that's terrible. I'm assuming it's pronounced like "nation" and not like "fashion". Not that pronunciation would make any difference at all, haha.
I love the idea of the name, but the sound of it would restrict me from naming a small being it.
Nashon (or Nachshon in the original Hebrew with the "ch" being gutteral) was the first person to walk into the water when Moses was parting the Red (aka Reed) Sea from Egypt to the north. He was a man of great faith and courage.
There's also a Nashon Island off the coast of Massachusetts inhabited by some very wealthy, political families.
