yeah, this is super popular in german-speaking europe, i've known so many of them. :] i don't think it's a bad name. means lucky/happy, of good fortune. i'd be a nice name to give a child.

There is a business owner near me whose name is Felix. It quite suits him. He is a very dignified guy, ALWAYS is wearing a suit jacket and tie. So I have a very adult association with it. Its not common at all where I live, I don't think I would use it myself, but I wouldn't find it weird if I came across it.
