Naming game continued...

babynamesI have had a couple of requests for a continuation of my entry from a few days ago in which I wrote descriptions of people and you had to give them names. So here's more. Have at it. :o)
1. A reserved, unassuming, polite girl who is the eldest of 5 siblings and therefore overlooked most of the time and criticized for the rest. She likes to retreat into the shade of a big oak tree in her big back yard with a good mystery novel to escape from her family and the daily fray.
2. A rosy-cheeked, trim, elegant French Countess who has curly, dark hair, a musical laugh, and bright, intelligent eyes. She likes jewelry and finery as much as the next noblewoman, but what she loves most of all is music and taking long walks in her beautiful gardens and grounds, alone.
3. A teenaged boy who dresses in all black clothes, wears studded bracelets, paints his fingernails black, smokes, cusses like a sailor, and takes out all his angst on his parents and siblings. He wasn't always that way; until he hit puberty, he was a sweet, funny, happy child whom everybody loved and adored.
4. A tall, gangly, unemployed ex-Marine from Nowheresville, Virginia with a Southern accent and an affinity for tattoos, anime, video games, and cheap beer. He likes to go on and on about how much he loves America and thinks that religious people are stupid. He is often very rude and tactless.
5. A young, slightly chubby, gossipy, spoiled, high-maintenance Italian girl who lives in New York and spends wayyy too much of her parents' money on shopping at expensive stores in NYC with her equally gossipy, spoiled, high-maintenance friends.
6. A huge, beefy, macho high school jock who hates school but keeps his grades up high enough that he doesn't get kicked off the football and lacrosse teams. He likes to party on the weekends with his friends, watch ESPN, go to the gym, and drive his old Chevy pickup with jacked up tires.
7. An old, graying, wrinkled farmer who lives alone and spends his days out in his fields, content with the company of the sun, the breeze, the birds, and his livestock. He can often be found chewing on pieces of grass or smoking a pipe, gazing out across the rolling hills of his land with a far-away look in his eyes.
8. A frumpy, middle-aged, scatterbrained high-school History teacher with a slightly disheveled appearance and a fear of interacting with her colleagues. She has framed pictures on her desk of her cats, and she always spends her lunch hour sitting at her desk, eating the same ham-and-cheese sandwich and apple she always eats, knitting, and occasionally staring off into space.
9. A lovely, tan Hawaiian girl with long, thick, lustrous, black hair and dark, flashing eyes. She loves her little village and her tribespeople, but she would rather spend her time sitting on the black obsidian cliffs nearby, watching the waves crash on the sand below in peaceful simplicity, than weave baskets and giggle over the village warriors with her friends.
10. A curvy, devastatingly beautiful saloon girl with cascading red hair, porcelain skin, ruby lips, and a sad look in her eyes. She grew up the daughter of a small-town preacher, but she ran away from her home and family when her first love abandoned her to go to California in pursuit of gold, and she ended up in a dusty, wild frontier town selling herself for money.
11. A rather cocky and indulgent 20-something-year-old punk-rocker who has hit it big with his band and is now swimming in wealth and fame and success. He likes "living the high life", surrounded by screaming fans and photographers and journalists begging for interviews, but a little voice in the back of his mind tells him that it isn't all it's cracked up to be, and he feels like he deserves to be happier than he feels.
12. A very serious, focused art student who loves Monet and Van Gogh and can frequently be found with her easel set up in the local park and paint splattered all over her. She secretly longs to paint nudes, but she is much too shy and modest and easily embarrassed to ever sit and look at a real, live naked person long enough to do it. She also secretly wants to walk around wearing a beret, but she is afraid of appearing pretentious.
