Well as of right now we have "mutually" (more him than me) decided on Conner Howard (His mom's name is Connie & His & His dad's middle name is Howard) & Kylie Sky. I don't really like Conner Howard, does it sound bad to anyone else? I mean maybe something like Matthew Conner, but HE doesn't like Matthew. Any ideas?

I think Conner Howard sounds fine, and the meaning behind it is wonderful. Still if you aren't that into it then perhaps it would be best to find something that really works. You'll have to live with the name every day.

Sky is almost identical to the first syllable of Kylie. You could almost just go ahead and use Sky as a nickname for Kylie - they're that similar. To me, that sort of repetition doesn't highlight the best aspects of either name; it just emphasizes the repetition of Ky. Are there any other combos you're considering here for a girl?

I'm with you. Conner Howard I'm not so fond of. I think one way to make it a tiny bit better is to spell Conner with an "o," as in Connor.

To me, "Conner" sounds like he's going to be a con-man. Connor sounds more respectable.

Do you have to use Howard? Isn't the baby already going to get his and his father's last name? Isn't that enough honor? (Just a thought.)

Connor is really starting to get trendy. :( I really like your pick on Matthew, it's one of those names that I'll always love. I'm not big on Kylie, because I hear it everywhere and it's the name of a girl who obsesses over my boyfriend. lol

The thing I did in order for us to both agree was I let my boyfriend chose his first name, and I picked his middle name. Maybe you could do this? Let him pick the middle name or vice versa? That way everyone can be happy. :)

I completely agree with this comment, although Connor Howard sounds just fine to me as well.

Connor seems like the best spelling here. Conner might be one legit spelling but it looks... wrong (a bit like when people write "docter" instead of "doctor" - argh!!! - I know it's not the same but that's what I thought of).

Really, really not liking the whole Kylie/Kylee/Kyleigh/Kaylee/Caileigh collection. Especially with a middle name like Sky; if she ever decides she wants a more "elegant"/classic/classy name than Kylie, her middle name certainly won't be an option.

i think conner howard sounds okay, but like someone said before, conner/connor is getting really popular. you can always go with conrad, or, if you don't like that, maybe use conner as a middle name and just get rid of howard. maybe use another "h" name?

Thank you all for your opinions, I kindof felt like Kylie Sky sounded kind of like an exotic dancer or a stage name type, I liked both names and B just kinda stuck them together. I really like Skylar better than just Sky, but he isn't too keen on Skylar, bc we live off of a rd called Skyland Blvd. I really don't see the revelance.
As far as spelling Connor with an O I had never thought about that and I really like that idea. I tried to plead with him about the baby having his last name & Connor being after his mom, and that if we have a boy he would need a name after my family as well, but he said that Howard is his dad's middle name & his middle name so his son's middle name should be Howard as well, I don't see why, my middle name is Renae, my mother's middle name is Renae, but my daughter's middle name would not be Renae. It isn't like we live in early England when people had to be named after family or someone of great importance. But he refuses to see my way of thinking, maybe he will come too when he reads a list of baby names from a book or something. Wish me luck on this journey into changing his mind :) And thanks again for all your help ;)
