I think Irene is pretty, I know a girl named Irene. I just don't think it fits a child very well.

I love the name Irene. Everyone says it sounds like an old lady name, but the only Irene I ever knew was this really sweet girl the same age as me when we were kids, so I don't think of it as being old at all.
