babynames | When all else fails...PLAY A GAME!!

I'm sick of studying for finals. So I've decided to procrastinate for a while and come up with a fun game. Yay!

Ok Sparky, here's the deal. I'll give you a list of descriptions (of people), and you have to come up with names that you think would fit them. Sound good? Hokay. Here we go...

1. Shy, young Roman slave girl living in the palace of Caesar, hand-maiden to his spoiled daughter.

2. Bright, spunky, blonde little girl with sparkling blue eyes and a fascination with flowers and bugs.

3. Tall, dark, brawny Celtic warrior who is traveling over the ocean to fight his people's enemies in a distant land.

4. Sarcastic, Fedora-wearing, Theater major who likes to listen to Radiohead and Something Corporate and point out the use of lighting at every concert, play, and movie she goes to.

5. Tall, scrawny, science-loving saxophone player who wears glasses and quotes Monty Python or Space Balls on an almost hourly basis.

6. Short, skinny, quiet guitarist/songwriter who wears button-down shirts and Converse every day and likes photography.

7. Perky, tan, freckled surfer-chick from Southern California who wants to be a journalist and live in Australia.

8. Very large, friendly Samoan man, with tribal tattoos around his arms and ankles, who likes to sing and dance and crack jokes and always has a big smile on his face.

9. Slender, fair-skinned Medieval princess with long chestnut hair who has a deep love of nature and likes walking through the forest barefoot when no one is looking.

10. Teenage girl, slightly tomboy-ish, with wispy brown hair plaited into two braids and a Southern accent who is crossing the midwest with her family on the Oregon Trail and writing furiously in her journal about everything she sees.

11. Fierce, strong, beautiful African tribeswoman, adorned with elaborate beads and covered with intricate tribal scars on her arms and cheekbones, who is moving to the city to seek out a better life for herself and her children.

12. Witty, devastatingly handsome, flirtatious, hard-drinking (but hard-working) Oxford student who grew up in an extremely small English hamlet and has high aspirations...of never going back.

13. Middle-aged, somewhat dumpy housewife and stay-at-home mom who always has her nose in a trashy romance novel when the kids aren't looking...or her husband, for that matter.

14. Tall, good-looking, brilliant Philosophy and Classics professor at a prestigious university who likes to point out the Greek and Latin roots that can be found in the English language at the dinner table...much to the dismay (or amusement?) of his wife and kids.

15. Aggressive, ill-tempered 11-year-old boy who is big for his age and enjoys terrorizing his mother with his attitude, his sisters and the girls at school with worms...and the boys with his fists.
