I am a schmuck. I was so excited to have Julia Michelle picked out as a name for my (potential) little girl. Still don't know what I am having. (13 days til the gender scan!!!)

But I am tempted by other names. I am unfaithful to my beautiful name. Poop. And that makes me sad.

Michelle is set. For sure. And I still love Julia. But some other names have come up on my radar that are great.

Kelly Michelle
Lucille Michelle (Luc)
Grace Michelle
Ella Michelle
Elisabeth Michelle (Which has been on my list since the beginning)
Sabrina Michelle (also on my list from the beginning)

Does anyone have this problem? Just terrible second-guessing? :)

I'd avoid anything with the "ell" sound in it (Ella, Kelly). I think Sabrina sounds good with Michelle, and I love Elisabeth.

Gah, this is hard, I really like all your names!!!

I really, really like Julia as a first name and I see it perfect with Michelle.
I also strongly like Sabrina, and had considered it myself (before my SO's pronounciation of it threw me completely off of it :D)
I really like Elizabeth as a reason to use Ella for short.. and of course, I like Lucille :)
I like Kelly, but paired with Michelle it might be a bit too '80s.
Grace is wonderful, but getting too common too fast.

I still think Julia Michelle, as a combination, should stay on top of them all :D
It's perfectly ok to toy around with other suggestions, I have a feeling you'll come full circle with your "beautiful name" choice eventually ;)

It gets worse. By the end of your pregnancy you'll have 10th-guessed yourself and gone through possibly every name in existance. It's so crazy. Good luck, Lucille is beautiful :]

I'm a little partial to the name Kelli...but that's because it's my name. :)

Like Sabrina...LOVE Julia.

i was just saying today that all Kellys are cute and sweet. Is there some sort of clause?

Stick with Julia! It's a pretty name and it works great with Michelle. I also like Elisabeth Michelle, but both names are already wicked common (lucky for Elisabeths out there, they have a million nicknames to choose from).

I'd reject all the other ones as they all have a lot of L sounds (use whatever reasons you can find to elimitate names!)... Michelle already has the doulbe L so Kelly, Ella, Elisabeth, And even Lucille can be tossed. Grace, yawn.

The only one I am stuck in is Sabrina.
Sabrina Michelle
Julia Michelle

Hmm, which initials do you like better, JM or SM?

Kelly and Ella (and Lucille, in a weird way) are way too matchy/rhymey with Michelle, so I'd cut those out.

My favorites are Julia and Sabrina.

I like Julia, Elisabeth, and Sabrina. I like Luc as a nn for Lucille, but I don't like Lucille.

You have until the birth certificate paperwork is due to to pick a name. ^_^ We're just taking a list of names we like, with some potential combinations written down, and naming the baby when we meet him or her. (But then, we're not finding out the sex until birth, either; we're not into over-planning.)

I like Julia and Sabrina best with Michelle, but all your names are nice.

seems like the best idea. then when you see her you can say the names and see which one is 'her'

I like some of those names, but I think Julia sounds better than any of the new ones you're suggesting.

I love Julia (although I do like the sound of Sabrina too....... ok, I'll stop tempting you) the best.

and if it makes you feel any better, my first daughter had a different name every week until I was 37 weeks. then she was Leah for 3 weeks. on her birthday, she became Amelia.

my second was Georgia for a VERY long time. then, 2 weeks before she was born it was maybe Eleanor. Then, we decided on Taryn. I was literally in labor, exhausted and dealing with a failed epidural, saying to my Mom "... but really... maybe we should have stuck with Bronwyn... we really liked that name!!!" and my mom had to tell me to shut the hell up and concentrate on getting little no name out (jk, but really she was like "omg, please don't change her name again" lol)

i think julia michelle is beautiful, but i also like ella, elisabeth, grace and lucille. i would say narrow it down to a few (and it definitely helps that you already have the middle name as a definite!) and see how each one works once she is born, which one feels right.

I didn't have a name picked until I was actually holding the baby in my arms!

For what it's worth, I like Julia the most out of the names on your list.

The new options are good for the most part, especially Sabrina Michelle. I still think Julia Michelle is the best, though. Of course, you might look at your baby when she finally arrives and think she doesn't look like ANY of those names.
