Mar. 19th, 2008 11:30 amI am a schmuck. I was so excited to have Julia Michelle picked out as a name for my (potential) little girl. Still don't know what I am having. (13 days til the gender scan!!!)
But I am tempted by other names. I am unfaithful to my beautiful name. Poop. And that makes me sad.
Michelle is set. For sure. And I still love Julia. But some other names have come up on my radar that are great.
Kelly Michelle
Lucille Michelle (Luc)
Grace Michelle
Ella Michelle
Elisabeth Michelle (Which has been on my list since the beginning)
Sabrina Michelle (also on my list from the beginning)
Does anyone have this problem? Just terrible second-guessing? :)

Date: 2008-03-19 07:03 pm (UTC)I really, really like Julia as a first name and I see it perfect with Michelle.
I also strongly like Sabrina, and had considered it myself (before my SO's pronounciation of it threw me completely off of it :D)
I really like Elizabeth as a reason to use Ella for short.. and of course, I like Lucille :)
I like Kelly, but paired with Michelle it might be a bit too '80s.
Grace is wonderful, but getting too common too fast.
I still think Julia Michelle, as a combination, should stay on top of them all :D
It's perfectly ok to toy around with other suggestions, I have a feeling you'll come full circle with your "beautiful name" choice eventually ;)

Date: 2008-03-20 01:47 am (UTC)seems like the best idea. then when you see her you can say the names and see which one is 'her'

Date: 2008-03-20 12:14 am (UTC)and if it makes you feel any better, my first daughter had a different name every week until I was 37 weeks. then she was Leah for 3 weeks. on her birthday, she became Amelia.
my second was Georgia for a VERY long time. then, 2 weeks before she was born it was maybe Eleanor. Then, we decided on Taryn. I was literally in labor, exhausted and dealing with a failed epidural, saying to my Mom "... but really... maybe we should have stuck with Bronwyn... we really liked that name!!!" and my mom had to tell me to shut the hell up and concentrate on getting little no name out (jk, but really she was like "omg, please don't change her name again" lol)

Date: 2008-03-20 05:43 am (UTC)I didn't have a name picked until I was actually holding the baby in my arms!
For what it's worth, I like Julia the most out of the names on your list.
