So I posted once before about getting your help. I am 39w pregnant (due next Sunday) and we STILL haven't figured out a name. So I have revamped my baby name list with names that we can both agree on (and we FINALLY agreed on a middle name) and I was wondering what you thought about them.

I vote Silas. It sounds good with Micah and isn't as popular as Elliott and Lucas.

They're all really nice, except for Tucker and Chance. I like Sawyer a lot, but it is gaining in popularity. But the middle name you chose, Micah, is amazing in my opinion. It's one of my favourite names and I hope to use it some day. :)

My favourite of these is Elliot, by far. Sawyer and Tucker are pretty good too. I'm really not a fan of Silas or Lucas.

Silas is my favorite.

Elliot is nice but too popular, and becoming more so. On my lj friends list there are four babies under two named Eli/Eliot (various spellings).

Tucker the **cker. Not a fan.

Lucas is fine. A classic. Just not very interesting to me.

Chance is ok. A little cheap sounding. Kind of the male equivalent of names like Destiny and Trinity to me.

Sawyer is also just ok. Trendy sounding and very strongly reminiscent of Lost right now.

I think that Elliot is my favorite. I really like it. Even though at the moment I just think of the Governor and the whole scandal thing (I live in New York bc so its on the news daily) I still love the name and that would not stop me from using it.

Definitely not Chance. It makes it seem like he was an accident or something. It's just an odd name, with no positive connotations, really.

I hate Tucker. Tucker and Sawyer fall into that whole 'er' thing, you know, Tucker, Sawyer, Cooper, Fletcher, Tanner, Ryder, etc... just blah.

Silas is okay, Lucas is okay, Elliot isn't my style at all, but I'd say it's probably the best out of the bunch.

Silas Micah Gleason - Absolutely love it.

Elliot Micah Gleason - Love it, but not as quirky as Silas

Tucker Micah Gleason - Horrible, Tucker rhymes with fucker. that's the first thing that springs to mind, a long with a fat boy.. because in England a school snack is called tuck- usually meaning unhealthy food.

Lucas Micah Gleason - love love love but possibly too popular.

Chance Micah Gleason - Trendy, can you imagine a grown up Chance?

Sawyer Micah Gleason - A bit too 'of the moment'- I think it will date badly along with the Parker's & Taylor's etc...

I'd go for Lucas or Elliot myself, but if popularity bothers you then Silas.

I really liked Elliot and Sawyer.

Silas is ok too.

But when you see him I guess you'll have more of an idea. He might look like something completely different!

unfortunately, i don't really think micah flows that well with any of them, but i don't think that's that big of a deal.
i, personally, wouldn't go with elliot because it's getting so, so, so popular and your son might be called "elliot g." throughout school.
