On the Apprentice last night, there was a woman named Daryl Roth. I think I like Daryl as a girl's name. As an aside: I love Daryl Hannah, the actress. WDYT?

I'm just going to add, that might be because I'm Australia.
I think it's a very blokey Australian name.

I rather like Daryl as a girl's name, when I think about it. I am a bit of a Daryl Hannah fan myself ((mainly because she was in 'Blade Runner')), so maybe that's why I like it. When I think of it as a boy's name, I always think of spelling it 'Darrell.'

Haha, My moms name is Daryll. Her teachers refused to call her Daryll so they tried calling her by her middle name >_<

Because they thought the name Daryll wasn't a feminine name and the teacher preferred calling her by her middle name because it was less "confusing".

Teachers are weird though, I had to deal with the same crap till this day. O_o They even persisted to call her by her middle name even when she asked them not too. This, I guess, teacher was back in elementary so I assume of course no one would take her seriously as a little kid. The teacher just refused to call her Daryll. :( haha
