I personally don't like it as a name, just because it's not really my style, but it's still a good name... my sister's fiance is named Travis, and he's really sweet. I always think the bearer of the name will be a good man.

Not really my style, but it's okay. It does make me think country, because of Travis Tritt, and the only Travis I currently know grew up on a farm and still drives a pickup and wears western-ish clothes. I knew a couple Travises in school who weren't really country, though (and some that were).

I just hate the name in general but I also knew a Travis who was a friends boyfriend, and he disliked me for no reason at all so I've always had a great dislike for him too... so I have bad connotations with Travis anyway.
