I saw a name on a traffic ticket today, and I keep thinking about it. I'm not sure how i feel about it. It was a boy named "Lyndel", which I imagine to sound very much like "Wendell". Do we like it or hate it? Or do we like it for a girl?

I've seen it pronounced as lin-DELL, but that could be a Southern thang. Actually, I think of it as an old Southern man's name. I don't like it, male or female.
