(no subject)

I am due late August/early September & have been going gaga over baby names lately.

Madeline, Adelaide, Autumn (f)
Oliver, Elliott, Ainsley (m)

Opinions & any middle name suggestions (nothing too generic) would be wonderful.

You may like these!

I love Elliott. My favourite combo is Elliott Alexander.

I love Madeline and Autumn, but I know so many little girls names Madeline (or with names that have Maddie as the nn).

For boys, Elliott is one of my favorite names out there.

I love Madeline and Adelaide for girls.

Madeline Aurora
Madeline Rose

Adelaide Aurora
Adelaide Olivia

And the name Oliver Elliot sounds so cute to me, and it combines two you like? Haha. I love Oliver and Elliot, too.

Those are so fairy taleish and romantic.

OP: Congratulations on your upcoming arrival. Nice names.

Well, I do believe Madeline and Adelaide to be rather 'romance' era names, myself. At least, when I think of them that's how I see it.

Aurora is a fairy-tale name, yeah. But Olivia and Rose aren't, by any means.

I was expressing what I felt sounded nice. I don't really know how to take this comment. If I take it negatively, and I'm wrong I feel like an ass. If I take it positively and you didn't mean it as such I feel bewildered and rather berated for an opinion.. So. Either way. Thanks. I very much am in love with fairy-tale names, they're often beautiful and fairly poetic. And flow nicely together. :)

Really? I'm not sure how you would take it as negative. Please don't. It's hard to read tone on the internet, but I think the best way to go is not to be insulted by something unless it is really obviously negative and personal. Note that I said "nice names." That should have been a tip off that I liked them. :)

Like them all, except Autumn...which is weird because I like Winter. When I was 12 I wanted a daughter named Winter Thyme. Oh, to be 12 again! My cousin is an Elliot Charles, but that might be too generic.

I think they're all very pretty and respectable names but I don't like Ainsley for either gender. And I think it sounds feminine.
