I wouldn't use it because I knew someone that turned me off the name, but really and truly I like it.

i really dislike those rigid, hard sounding names like grant, brent, etc.

one of my friends at work just found out theyre having another boy and grant and brent are on their list. i smiled along and waited for the "good" names. :)

On the other hand, I'm not sure I want to use it, because of a *thing* in my best-friend-in-high-school's family. Not that his family affects me now that we've lost touch, but the *thing* comes to mind every time I hear the name Grant now. But I do love it, and the *thing* makes me giggle.
