What do yall think of the sib set

Josephine
Jocelyn

And I would love some middle name suggestions. Nothing too common or trendy.

I love both names, but I think they're too similar for siblings; they both would end up being shortened to Jo(ey). I like Josephine just a smidgen more.

Josephine Elisabeth
Josephine Louisa
Josephine Eliza
Josephine Catherine
Josephine Eleanor
Josephine Annalise
Josephine Patricia
Josephine Olivia
Josephine Nadia
Josephine Margaret
Josephine Violet
Josephine Isabel

Jocelyn Margaret
Jocelyn Eliza
Jocelyn Louisa
Jocelyn Olivia
Jocelyn Nadine
Jocelyn Danielle
Jocelyn Eleanor
Jocelyn Violet
Jocelyn Ivy
Jocelyn Isabel

I love both the names, but they would be too similar for me to personally consider using them in a sibset.

I just wanted to say that I love your icon. I'm watching that episode right now, and Alice just said that line right before I read your post. *lol*

I love Jocelyn but I can't stand Josephine. Also, I think they're too similar to be a sibset.

I think they are way too matchy-matchy for siblings. Also, I like Josephine a lot more than Jocelyn.

I'm not crazy about either name, although I like Josephine better than Jocelyn. But they are way too similar for siblings.

For a longish name like Josephine, I prefer shorter middle names, like Anne, Rose, Eve, Marie. I know some people see those as 'filler' names, but I quite like all of those.

They do sound familiar....that is, unless you pronounce Jocelyn as "JOSS-elin" (hope that makes sense).

That's how I pronounce it (but I'm not the OP). How else would it be pronounced?

I guess JOE-celyn. Which would then sound more like Josephine.

i like josephine more than jocelyn.

to me, jocelyn is kind of trashy and josephine is classic and beautiful. and i know a little girl named josephine who goes only by josie.

Yeah I agree about being too similar. Nicknames would really be difficult to distinguish as well. You could use one as a middle name instead of a first?

I don't think they're too similar, and I don't think they'd have too-similar nicknames. Yes, they both start with Jo, but since the O's are pronounced differently (at least, in my experience), I think it's fine.

I like Jocelyn more than Josephine, but both are nice. I'm not sure how well they fit in a sibset, since they're very different styles, but they are both nice and not too similar.

I love them both, but I think I prefer Jocelyn, honestly. I just love the spelling of that name, and it's just.. not one I see very often. :)

I'd definitely consider it if I had a second girl.

I don't think they sound bad together, one could be Josie and the other Jojo, Joce (Joss), etc.

I like Josephine, but I strongly dislike Jocelyn. Which I can't even pronounce.
It's Joe-ss-LEN in french, but I have no clue in english.

Josephine Rose
Josephine Anita
Josephine Carys
Josephine Maria
Josephine Adrienne
Josephine Agnes

It's pronounced like Jah-ss-Len in English I do believe. And some people add an e sound in there as Jah-Seh-Len.
