The top names are pretty much the same, but oncce you get to like, five people or four people they change drastically. The most popular girl's name last time was Elizabeth but it didn't get that many votes this time. Also, names like Claire, Juliet, Margaret and Eleanor pretty much disappeared this time around, same with Gabriel, Logan and Elijah. I'm really surprised at the popularity of Elliot/Elliott/Eliot! Last time the most popular names for boys were Alexander, Oliver, James and William. Girls were Elizabeth, Audrey and Eleanor. If you would like the complete list from this time or last time, comment with your email and I'll send it to you.

Wow, thanks for this!

I think Eleanor is such a cute name, but only with the nickname "Ellie". The thing that turns me off about the name, though, is that it means "pity" D:

Ditto. I cringed when I saw 4 out of 5 of mine on the list! Especially because I have never actually met a kid with those names... :\

I knew Elliot was going to be number one because when I looked at the 4 comments above mine they all had the name listed (and so did I). lol

All of my boy choices were in the top list but only one of my girl ones was.

I'm not at all surprised at Eliot/Elliott. On my friends list there are three women with baby Elis, and I know another one in real life too. It seems like a very popular name in my life.

Wow. My first daughter's name is a combination of both 2's. I don't know how I feel about that. Then again.. the probability of meeting anyone IRL with the same taste as me.. not as likely.

My top boy name isn't on there, but the middle name is a 2 as well.. I love the name Arthur, seriously. So much.

Interesting!

I think some names you grow to like the more often you hear them. So when an unusual/unique/uncommon name is mentioned here all the time, some people might start to like it while before, they didn't like it or never really considered it.

I never considered Miles, for example, but it was frequently mentioned here, and then I realised I liked it (and it goes well with other names I like).
