luca is a boys name. i love it as a boys name, its on my short list, and really really hope it doesnt go the way of tyler/kyle/ryan, etc... keep it a boys name!

martine is kind of pretty i guess.

Justine and Jamie sound like white trash.
I like Luca, Ryane, and Davina.
Michaela is waaaay overused right now but it's okay, as are the rest.

Harriet=hell yes (one of my favorites); Hariette=no. It's spelled wrong.

Bernadette is okay, but Martine, Henriette, Frederiqe, and Davina look either made up or like typos. Luca is a boy's name, as is Ryane, no matter how it's spelled. Jamie is awful. I don't like Brianna, either.

Ryan is a boys' name. Ryane or Ryanne (rhymes with Diane) is a girls' name

I took Henriette from Casanova, but I'm not sure if I spelled it right. The only Martine I've heard of is Martine McCutcheon and the only Davina I know is Davina McCall, so I took the spellings from them. Seeing as I never really hear them used I'm not sure if there are other spellings or pronuciations, but I was also guessing they wouldn't be very popular.

Martine, Henriette & Frederique are all legit names. I suppose they're just not as common in the USA as they are here.

*LOL* I have just read the replies above! My name is Justine. What I love about it is the uniqueness. I have never met another Justine ever....I have heard people say their daughter is called it, or a relative but I have never found another Justine face to face. It gives me a strong sense of identity because of that. People call me Jus or Jussy but at school I was Justy.

Lol. Luca made it on the list after a friend started singing 'my name is Luca, I live on the second floor'. We were thinking up feminised boys names (hence the link). Since I posted this we've also thought up Alana, Nigella and Leona. We had a feeling they wouldn't be very popular, given that we don't hear that many of them...
