I went to school with a guy named Mikhele [muh-kay-lee.]
Has any of you guys ever seen it spelled like this before? What other variations are there without doing the big 'm', small 'c' thing? Do you even like it as a boy's name? All mature opinions are appreciated!

McKaylee
McHaylee
*Shrug*
I like that name. Never heard it before now, but it's adorable.

It kind of reminds me of Mekhi, like Mekhi Phifer, so maybe it could also be spelled Mekhaile, or Mikhaile? It sounds a tad femme to me though. Reminds me of he female name Makayla too much.

I think that with that spelling you're going to get a lot of different pronunciations, such as [mik-hay-lee]. I would go for something more standard, like Makayle or Makalee. Good luck!

Never seen that name on a guy, and especially not spelled like that. Maybe McKaylee on a girl? Not really a big fan of it, especially not as a boy's name.

It's a form of the name Michael; it's really common in eastern Europe and Russia. The usual spelling is Mikhail.

i am so excited to see this post!!! i love that name! the only "version" i've heard is the australian athlete named michellie (pronounced the same way). i'm excited to see another version... but i definitely think it makes a better girl name... it's actually my favorite girl name. :)
