[identity profile] sifukatara.livejournal.com posting in [community profile] babynames
Hi everyone! Lauren here. I hope everyone is doing well. I know I left, but I decided to give this group a second chance. Even though the reason I left was because some people were less than kind, I figure if we stick to baby names we should all get along fine.

I’m looking for a nice Irish name for a character I’m creating for an original book. The character is a wee girl and I need some help finding just the right Irish name for her. She has brown eyes and light brown hair. She is sweet, but a wee bit shy. And the reason I’m putting a slight character description here is just in case it’s needed. Some people need a wee description before they can find the right name for a character. I really do appreciate the help in advance.

Saoirse
Siobhan
Sinead
Eilish
Caoimhe

Or if you want it more Americanized, something like Molly or Bridget.

Celidh I believe is another, although my spelling may be off, as I only know it from a girl I went to school with. Pronounced "Kaylee"

I think she sounds like a Saoirse indeed, but I also like Fainne (Fan-ya) & Roisin.

Maybe it's kinda obvious, but the dark features make her a Rhiannon to me :)

My first thought too, but Rhiannon is Welsh I think?
