Old lady names

What kind of names do you think of as being 'old lady names?' My list includes:

Nora
Dot
Clara
Gertrude
Prudence
Joy
Mary
Betty
Ruth
Shirley
Olivia

One of my favourite names is Pearl - someone once told me that it was too much of an old lady name, which was interesting to me because I'd never heard it before and didn't associate it with old ladies at all.

This post isnt about old ladies you know & their names. It's about names you consider out of fashion and old sounding.. so i gave a list of old ladies i knew with names i would put in that genre. Olivia is totally out of that genre for me, but maybe not for someone else. for example, i love the name Esmé, & my mother thinks thats a very old lady name. Personally, i wouldnt consider 'old lady names' beautiful.
