Old lady names

What kind of names do you think of as being 'old lady names?' My list includes:

Nora
Dot
Clara
Gertrude
Prudence
Joy
Mary
Betty
Ruth
Shirley
Olivia

One of my favourite names is Pearl - someone once told me that it was too much of an old lady name, which was interesting to me because I'd never heard it before and didn't associate it with old ladies at all.

Clara is one of my all time favorite names. I also really like Joy, Mary, Ruth, and Olivia. I don't think of them as old names. :)

Same here...I want to name my 1st daughter Clara Ruth...Ruth was my grandmas name and I adore clara.
