Ok heres the deal. I have a 16 month old daughter named Lacy-Jae Marie. I'm pregnant again, but we don't know the sex yet. We don't want the name anywhere close to hers unless its a girl and it will be hyphanited (Spelling).

The boys names are down to 2:
Robert James II or Benjamin Robert
Girls are what we're having trouble with:
Nora-Kait Dawn
Ayden-Jane ?
Mary-? ?
?-Cora ?
Cari-Mae ?
We really don't know about a girls name.

What do you think?

I love Ayden/Aidan/Aiden as a girl's name :)

I like Robert James. I think Cora is an interesting name, (in a good way), but I think it'd be easier putting Cora as a first name. If you did that I'd suggest Cora-Leigh.
I'm not a fan of Mary, but Mary-Catherine sounds good together.

Maybe if you stayed out of the back seat, you wouldn't have this problem.

Nora-Kait Dawn looks strange (Kait? Why?) and sounds choppy (three one-syllable names in a row).

In terms of boys' names, I've never met anyone who was named ___ ____ II and like it. Why not give your son his own name?

Sigh, I'm an idiot and can't type or think.

Nora is a two-syllable name. I mean three short names in a row.

I'd like Nora-Kate. And I prefer Benjamin Robert to the II name.

Nora-Kait Dawn - Not a fan of Dawn or that spelling of Kate. I do like Jane as a middle name for Nora.
Ayden-Jane ? - Don't. Just don't. Aiden/Ayden/Aidan is a horribly overused name right now. I do like Jane, though.
Mary-? ? Middle name suggestions: Ellen, Rose or Beth.
?-Cora ? - I like Cora, but I can't think of any names to go with it other than what I have suggested elsewhere.
Cari-Mae ? - Too sing-songy and rhymes with your daughter's name. I don't like it. I'd suggest Marie, Eileen, Denise, Irene or Elise for middle names with Cari.

...I hope you have a boy. I really, really hope. Why on Earth are you making all of the girl names hyphenated?

I like Nora-Kait Dawn but I would probably spell it Kate to make it more classic looking, that will carry into adulthood better.

What about Ada-Jane or Amy-Jane instead of Ayden-Jane, which is think has too many 'n' sounds to flow properly & sounds masculine (ayden is such a male name to me)
Then you can use AJ as a nn, which i think is very cute for a little girl! I'm going for Amelia Jane, i think.. just for that reason.

I really like Nora-Kait, but I'm not sure that Dawn goes with it. I wish I had other suggestions...but that name is beautiful.
